A manufacturer that
happens to make
its own product.
Most connected energy devices are designed by a software company and built by somebody else. Ours are designed and built by the same people, in the same building, which is why the enclosure fits an Indian consumer unit and the firmware assumes an Indian grid.
Pert Infoconsulting Pvt Ltd has spent 12 years making electronics, much of it on an OEM basis for leading Indian electrical brands. That work sets the standard we hold our own products to: their quality systems, their audits, their volumes.
The Pert EMD range came out of a straightforward observation. Rooftop solar was going up everywhere, and almost none of those homes could see what it was actually doing. A monthly bill arrives too late to change anything.
Twelve years in electronics
Pert has been designing and building electronic products in India since well before connected metering became a category. The monitors are a recent product line on top of a long manufacturing base.

Alongside our own products we manufacture on an OEM basis for leading Indian electrical brands — work that holds us to their quality systems, their audits, and their volumes.
Our own factory
Manufacturing runs in our own facility rather than through a contract partner, so line changes, testing and traceability stay under our control.

Designed around Indian supply: 90-264 V AC operation, 47-63 Hz, and surge immunity to IEC 61000-4-5, because the grid a device sees here is not the one in a lab.

We already build for the brands in your switchboard.
Some of the largest electrical brands in the country contract us to manufacture for them. It is quiet work — our name is not on the box — but it means our lines are audited to their standards and run at their volumes. When you buy an EMD, you are buying from that same floor.

The IoT chain

Three things have to work together, and we build all three: the device that measures, the platform it reports to, and the app that makes it mean something.
CT clamps on a DIN rail
Split-core CT clamps read each circuit without breaking a conductor. True RMS measurement, Class 1 accuracy available, from a 35 mm DIN rail enclosure inside the existing consumer unit.
Wi-Fi to the cloud
The device commissions over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and streams telemetry to our platform, with NTP time sync and an RTC holding time through an outage so data lands on the right timestamp.
One view on the phone
Solar generation, grid import, export and household consumption resolve into a single live picture on iOS and Android, with daily, weekly and monthly history behind it.

Not assembled from an imported kit. The hardware is engineered in-house for the supply it will actually see — 90 to 264 V AC, 47 to 63 Hz, surge immunity to IEC 61000-4-5 — and manufactured on our own line. When an installer calls with a question, the people who designed the board are in the same time zone.
